Hi, I have just had the inlet manifold gaskets done on my VT ll V6 auto wagon by my mechanic, who has done them before without issue. However this time after starting its throwing the engine check light, and after plunging it into his computer it's telling him that the air flow meter is out of range and the fuel purge valve has an issue. So he replaced both of them with spares that he had but still same reading and light on, any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the mechanic might have damaged the engine harness. From your description I presume you are getting error codes 32 and 97.

Check the 15A fuse labelled as engine sensor in the engine bay, the maf and purge use the same power supply.
