I’m wanting to paint my engine and radiator covers to match the car. Will this need to be baked after painting?

Will all potentially come down to the paint that you use.

I did the old Ecotec rocker covers and engine cover about 8 or so years ago. (and they have been on for a good 200k kms+ now)
Used the high temp rattle can black but also just used some regular silver from a jar for some accents and its still going fine today.

I'm not a painter or anything of the sort, but my thoughts are the only issue you may have is cracking later on in the paint if it doesn't like the heat.
