Hey guys I have very little idea about cars but I had a full inspection done on mine today and the result of the cylinder performance test is as follows.

BTW its a VY 5.7

cylinder -

1 - 94%
2 - 97%
3 - 92%
4 - 100%
5 - 96%
6 - 95%
7 - 94%
8 - 93%

Is this normal ?

Going by this (below) and your results above, I'd say it's good.

Compression Readings for the 5.7 litre GEN III V8.

Yeah, it's all good, you have a max of 8% variation across all cylinders.

It's fine, it's only a problem when there's a huge variance between cylinders.

With a maximum variation of 8% between cylinders 4 and 3 (bugger all).
No. 4 being the highest and No.3 being the lowest and with the engine @170,000 Km,
you have absolutely nothing to worry about............Yet lol.

There is the important factor of knowing what '4 - 100%' as a metric equals, lol. 8% variance of not enough PSI is going to be a problem in the near future ;)
