i've read a few comments here about anti-theft measures on cars... some about how people's cars still got stolen despite steering locks etc.

i also heard a couple of people say "well immobilisers are no good, if someone wants your car they'll get it." actually immobilisers are almost 100% effective at stopping anyone but professional thieves, who are in the minority, or people who leave their car keys on the kitchen wall.

i would go as far as to say don't waste your money on any other anti-theft stuff unless you've already spend $200 on an immobiliser.

disclaimer: i don't make a cent off immobilisers

VP Executive
For my VP

Supplied and fitted by mongoose. Mongoose made the factory keyless entry/imobiliser for the VP.

$199 for imobiliser. Replaces old one and turns old on off (switch in passenger door pillar). All locks now work from new remotes. Kit comes with 2 remotes. For security its meant to be much better than the standard unit.

$299 for alarm/imobiliser. Same deal as above but make screaching sound.

Good Luck
