Hey i converted my daily 3.8 vt from auto manual a few months ago with a getrag 5 speed gearbox. Everything works fine just the engine light stays on now i got my holidays i want to fix it.

Looked up the fault code #24 vechial speed sensor no signial.
Now im not familiar with commodores but i thought the speedo went through the ecu into D5 (tan wire) and C6 (blue/white wire), my speedo works so is that not ur speed sensor signal as it goes through your ecu? or can some one tell me where it goes into the ecu.

Wiring diagram below auto vt

Hey man, memcal is a chip that u put in the ecu itself. If ur speedo is workin then I would say it is definitely the memcal that needs to be changed to a manual one so that the light will go out. There's a bloke on eBay that sells vr/vs auto to manual wiring conversion, I know urs is vt, but msg him and he should be able to make u just a memcal for ur vt. I got mine off him
