engine light

I realise this topic has been talked about, but I cannot not find anything that will help with my problem
the issue is the engine light comes on under acceleration and stays on, if the ignition is turned of the engine light goes out and no codes shown on the scanner
just normal driving seems fine no eng light, its appears to come on when overtaking and stays on
The car has a slight miss around 60kl/hr could it be a plug/coil/ plug lead issue

The most obvious thing would be to check your engine oil level

A defective oxygen sensor can cause an engine light and not log a code.

Very common with vy ls1.
