    Hey guys just wondering what it means when the engine light comes on the dash of my car. I have a 5lt VR Calais. Any help would be great

    when it comin on.. and is it stayin on... have u checked ur fault codes

    It is staying on and every noiw and then while driving the light turns off and back on a gian a few seconds later. I have not checked the fault codes, How could I do that?

    Have you got a manual book like Grogery, it has all the details how to check the fault code. Very easy to do.

    Engine light means something not right. It also means that there is a fault code logged, which you can easily pull to identify your problem.
