Air con compressor has to be unbolted on the passenger side, and the power steering pump on the drivers side.

If you leave it, the engine jumps around and you could do a centre bearing in the tail shaft. The exhaust will start leaking, the sump will end up touching the K frame.

If the exhaust hits the k frame, the big piece of steel under your engine, where the exhaust pipe meets the manifold will come loose and start to leak. It leaks exhaust gas, not air.

You asked what could happen if they aren't replaced. This is what could happen. I didn't say it would be happening now.

To check it. get a piece of garden hose and use it as a stethoscope to listen around the manifolds and flanges for leaks. You will hear it flutter back up through the hose.

Since you have extractors, there are no manifolds but they can still leak around the flanges where the Y pipe connects.
