I recently bought a vcm otr for my 04 vz ss, and the engine is not aligned with the center of the frame, it is off to the passanger side a bit. The mounts are good holding tight and level. Any help would be great

Has the car got a crash history? Maybe the chassis is off?

Good point mate, I had similar issue with old car with an engine mount breaking, turned out to be a front end crash damage fix, also the radiator plastic casing cracked with thermo fan shroud mounting points on the same side.

No got a clean history with the car. Bought it from a dealer about a year ago and it has only had one previous owner.

The dealer confirmed it had never been in an accident ?

2007 ssv manual
I remember seeing on YouTube, the skid factory videos he said manufacturers do offset engines to either side sometimes to help with space, fitment etc and it doesn’t make any difference compared with having the engine perfectly centred

SS Commodore - Ford Territory ... both camps
I vaguely remember hearing all the iron block V6s from VN to VY were slightly offset. Cant confirm right now. As said, doesn't affect much... except the fitment of OTRs apparently.

Loosen off the Kframe and reposition the K frame to centre everything?
