   Can someone please explain to me where to find the engine number on a VR.
   
   I can't seem to locate it.
   
   I'm not very mechanically minded so a detailed or easier explanation would be greatly appreciated.

   just to the right and below the water pump pulley. They are hard to see

   in that area there is a number 24501811, does this sound right?
   
   The housing for one of the pullies seems to cover a number or letter. I can't be certain but it looks like there maybe numbers missing.

   it wont be the same number each engine has its own number otherwise how could u tell it form the next one
