Can somebody tell me where the engine number is for my 2009 v6 ve is please

Passenger side machined bright surface, where he block meets the bellhousing.
Or ,white sticker front of the block with barcode,
Or, you can always read it of the rego paper.

Reading numbers from rego papers or sticker ain’t a good method if your aim is to confirm actual numbers are ok when, for example, you’re buying a used car privately

Sadly with some cars, even knowing where the number is stamped, it may still not help as it can be next to impossible to see the number without an endoscope. No idea if that’s the case with the VE V6 or whether it’s clearly visible from within the engine bay.
