Engine oil for VF V6

Anyone have a recommendation of a good engine oil for the V6 think my dealer uses AC Delco Dexos

My preference is Mobil 1 or Penrite, used them for years and no issues,

Nulon make a 5w-30 Dexos oil.....Very good oil and made here is Aus. Hi-Tec oils also do the same.

I like the Nulon and Penrite full syn rated 5W30. Bought on special they are heaps cheaper and better than what the dealer profits from.

Tried heaps of oils in my VEII ute these V6s are hard on oil.

I like this the best, stays nice and clean for ages. Exceeds Dexos requirements.

An oil that looks clean is not a sign of a good oil.

I have recently switched from Penrite full Syn to Nulon full Syn and will never use anything else again.

Picking up an old thread.

Took my VF2 Calais V6 to the stealership today for a regular service. Just noticed on the invoice that they have used a different engine oil spec - 10W30 instead of 5W30 (recommended by Holden). Should I be worried?
