I'm pretty keen myself on a L67. Simple to put in, works in with nearly all existing stuff. Cost $3,000 round figures...

Pretty keen on a 308 too but lots of fuel consumption, (not good for the missus who drives around all the time)

personally, I'd stick with the 6. buy and rebuild a tough 6 while your current engine's still running, then when it dies it's a simple bolt out bolt in job

o.k your standard 6 from the wreckers will cost $800(?)

$2,200 less than an L67. is your idea of original engine based on price?

The L67 is a tuff engine, ready for some full on mods.

But it is a little overpriced for what it is I suppose...

but my opinion on L67 is if you run a turbo or supercharge, you can run higher boost without having to open the engine so in the long term is better. are l67 supercharged cauae sumone said they were. if an L67 engine is 3 grand installed{maybe add sum extra} that is not too bad. much better then a tuff buick motor. and as holden#1 says with great potential.
