how would i go about replacing my harmonic balancer?
my engine is out so the transmission cant stop the crankshaft from spinning.
i had a few ideas but im not too sure.
    any help would be sweet.

put 2 bolts back in the crank shaft and use a bar to lever against

Or get a mate to hold a screw flat driver in the ring gear teeth on the flexplate against a dowel or fixed object around the bellhousing and use a socket and long bar on the bolt......the v8s dont have as much torque (190)on the centre bolt as the v6s (300) so you should get it without too much trouble
