Does anyone know were the engine prefix is located on the ve engine as I've been asked to provide it for an engine replacement quote. Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

It shows all the codes for everything. Engine, suspension, axle etc. Just google whatever it says there and it will say what engine it relates to.

99% sure yours is a LEO - Holden VE - Media Release (scroll about half way down the page)
I thought might was until I took that pic and realised I had a LY7 (as I also discovered mine's a MY09.5 which got this engine - the things you learn thanks to google!)
