engine rattle

    2004 commodor wagon
    Hope someone can help. I have a 2004 3.8ltr wagon with 158000klms on the clock in great condition, however the engine rattles for approx.5 seconds on initional start up in the morning. There are no on-going noises and the vehicle performs perfectly. I have changed the engine oil from 20w50 to 10w40 hoping his would fix the cold morning starts.

    Hey Mate

    For an ecotec i would be using 15w50 where abouts is the rattle coming from ???
