Quick question, is it actually harmful for your engine if its running lean? Cheers

yes too lean will make a hotter environment in the combustion and can kill pistons, thats usually why when a important sensor fails it will default to rich...

You can cause the engine to knock/ping and fry valves pistons etc. Not good. Obviously leaner then stock is good but the car must be tuned correctly.

Is good! It makes power! However.. Too lean can be catastrophic.

At idle and cruising, the air fuel ratio should be aimed at 14.7:1, that's the perfect mixture. Under full load, depends on your mods etc, around 12 or 10:1.

Yeah depends on the mods I guess, as well as the air temp and humidity at the time of the tune, need to allow for cold weather if tuned in summer. Most of the cars I had were tuned at 12:1.
