Maybe because the person that parked it was like you....Won't tell the truth, so you have to check it out for yourself to make sure the problem is what you suspect it is....Hence asking on the forum
 WHAT THE FARMERS UNION  are you on about @vc commodore,
it would seem logical if you don;t know something about the car/motor to ask the owner since the OP mentioned car has been sitting for 6 years. Asking questions is a way to get answers to things we dont know. The OP hasn't said if he owns the car or just bought it or where the car is, it could be at his mate's house, it could be his dads or mums old ride parked after some issue, its like people don't just park cars for 6 years without a reason.... he is asking on the forum how to do something like trying to turn engine crap he is having no luck with where ever the car is.

Making smart arssed assumptions about other people you don't know aint helpfully to him, you could have offered an easier suggestion to him like perhaps hook a battery up and try cranking it over if to turn engine if what he has done isnt working for him, BUTT NO thats to hard for you to do.

No smart assed assumptions here hero.....Fact is, a question is being asked on the forum how to tell if the engine is seized.....

Asking questions don't always get the right answers.....Very similar to a question you have been asked for the past 2 months....Getting the right answers generally come from trying various options, which is what the OP is being given. It also helps others in the future, should they strike similar issues. But of course you can't see this being helpful in the future.....You just see what is in front of you right here and now

Now we'll see if it is too hard for you to reply to my PM with an answer.....

Well at least OP didn’t try YOUR METHOD to check oil pressure readings by doing a compression test on the motor. ;) That definitely wouldn’t help anyone now or in the future.

You should answer the question and offer OP suggestions to his question than just making assumptions on what other users have put forward before your useless comments.

And for your knowledge banks, the hb/bolt might be seized, manual/auto/clutch gearbox broken, jammed or even a broken/jammed rings, pistons, conrods, bearings, timing chain/cam or even lifters/pushrods, valves/rockers or even being in gear/diff locked or even a jammed/broken starter motor throw out gear .... could be anything to stop motor turning ...... but whoever drove/parked the car 6 years ago would know the reason car/engine was not going anymore.
