Sooooo

Trying to work out whether brembo brakes from ssv redline can legally be fitted to standard SS...

Is the number pictured a 'compliance number' ?
If not, where do I find compliance number for my car ?

.. no that circled is the Holden model number ending in K69
which says it is the bottom luxury level (K) and sedan (69)
and
underneath that is the VIN (Vehicle ID number)
which some call the compliance number (which actually it is not)

Okay. So it appears based on rego papers that circled number is model/variant number.
Can someone that has VF II redline check what their variant/model number is and let me know. Cheers !

This means that my car (SS Black) is not considered the same 'variant' under RMS guideliness and that redline spec brembo brake upgrade requires engineering certificate to be 100% legal. Dumb...but that's just how it is...I even have larger booster/bmc.

Called RMS and they were no help. Could not tell me anything specific...
Referred me back to guide on their web page..

The Compliance sticker is located passenger side b pillar. Open front passenger door and you'll see the sticker next to the door latch, it advises the approval #. My 17 Redline Sedan lists 44667 as the approval #.

Just checked mine. Same number on my car. The guy from RMS told me if the approval number is the same i.e. the vehicle is approved with that part option (brembo brake setup) then it is legal if fitted with stock manufacturers parts and does not require compliance certificate...
Will try and clarify further...

That’s interesting. I wonder if the HSV cars are under the same approval number? If so, I assume that the HSV brakes would also be a bolt-on-and-go option?
