Did it today. 3mm single hole, 2mm for each of the dual holes. Mine were nearly clogged. No real issues that I've noticed previously. Just takes a bit of time to do. Hardest was figuring out that plastic elbow clip.

Sludge and carbon build up are both signs of poor servicing. Drilling the holes out, using synthetic oil and more regular oil changes will help you avoid timing chain issues caused by dirty sludgey oil and blockages.
