Enquiry for value of an oringal VH

Hi all,
Just want to ask how much an oringal VH commodore with a Borg Warner 5 speed gearbox would be worth ?.

The gearbox is oringal (never been thrashed)
Has got service rust
Has only about 134,000klms on the clock
Is a country car
Engine was running when parked about 2years ago (but have spare recoed engine with less than 1000klms on it)

Interior still good (just dirty & needs a clean)


We are thinking about selling it

If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated

Try facebook...maybe drag week competitor will want it for ls conversion.

Problem is it's not sought after model & looking at roof could be a rusty nightmare if windscreens come out or elsewhere to make roadworthy for rego.

it is a shame it has been left out in the weather for so long, I bet even the interior will fall apart if you try and clean it.... it is probably not worth much more than $2,500, at best but you could always try for higher, you never know....

Unless you are prepared to remove the screens & give the interior a good clean to back up your comments. Most will want to steal it for $1000-1500 unfortunately (not saying it should be worth more as Derek has eluded to)! You could potentially get more by parting it out....

Put a figure on it & let the market decide....

It's not good. Not even close to good unfortunately. Average ones are making decent money and decent ones are making great money. $1500 is probably a nice realistic number. But if you get $800, be happy.
