Not sure yet. Rings are the easy part. The pistons on the other hand are not if you want them at a reasonable price.
Interesting articles about modern pistons/ring design use etc http://www.probeindustries.com/Articles.asp?ID=141 Piston And Ring Technology- Car Craft Magazine http://www.beckracing.com/page05.htm http://www.underhoodservice.com/Article/39778/Advances_i.aspx Cheers Bart
James been added on the list. As for time frame, it will probably be a few months I dare say. If time is an issue best to contact probe direct for a 1 off set. If it's a prob I'll take you off the list Cheers Steve
hey steve i'll have to with draw my interest sorry, as my car was in a bad accident and not worth fixing, sorry guys
hey quick question, lookin at the probe website, it looks like these slugs may be for a the buick gnx (82-88) series engine. have you confirmed that they'll fit our little aussie L27??
Different rod length apparently. Even if you use the GNX rods, it will be a real bastard to balance the crank given the extra weight
So i take its back too square one on the forgies idea? I ami dead keen on a set just cant find any >:-(
Hey man any more news on the pistons? Just starting my build so kinda wishing for some pistons. Or got any brands that make em that i can get in contact with?
No If you're really keen on a set sooner rather then later you can get them direct from probe themselves. Price will be around the $800US mark, plus delivery. Hope this helps Cheers, Steve
