Hi Guys,
I've had the local mechanic replace the timing chain on my holden VE 2009 omega, with the rev high kit after the engine warning lights appeared. Since replacing the timing chain
ECU running test reports code P0390 & P0365, Camshaft position (CMP) sensor B, bank 1&2 circuit malfunction likely open circuit or ECU requires flashing, all eight CMP and actuators were tested and function within Ω and volts, same for wiring at connections. Sensors and actuators were exchanged with working spares and the check engine light (CEL) is still present. Suggest having a professional auto electrician diagnose.
Should i take it to another mechanic to check the work or should I take it to a auto electricain who is 300km away?
