During my trip to Europe and the UK over the past month, I saw a couple of things which I just knew would interest members on this forum

    1. What has to be the world's most underpowered Chevrolet. The Daiwoo Matiz is marketed as a Chevrolet Matiz in the UK and Europe. Oh, how the mightly have fallen.......
    2. What has to be the world's most gutless Police car. Italian police use the Chevrolet Matiz in certain locations. Pursuits might be very interesting, if somewhat brief.....
    3. My nomination for the dumbest model name for a vehicle, and it isn't Japanese. The Citroen "Jumpy", a van which I saw throughout France. What a stupid name.

I took photos but have a problem with the camera at present. As soon as I get them, I'll post them, just for a laugh.

    Lol, at number 2...
Have fun in the UK?? Any English Lasses catch your eye??!!
Number 3 is almost on par with the 'Jimney' or what ever it is..! Both equally stupid names for cars...

    Hi Zeussy

Mate, I'm 57 and had the other half with me. Can you imagine an old fart like me checking out the chicks? I'd have been arrested for stupidity (after the missus murdered me first).

Jimny was dumb but I thought the French would have been a bit smarter. The van itself was quite neat, but the name killed me.

I drove a Kia Cee'd diesel in the UK. Little bugger pulled like a train and used stuff-all fuel, but the GPS we had was out of date and kept wanting to send me around non-existent roundabouts that had been replaced by fly-overs and turn left into one way streets the wrong way. Tried to argue with a huge tractor and a truck on two roundabouts - they were too big for the intersection and wanted to turn right across the centre island into my path, so that they actually turned in front of me, even though I entered the roundabout first. And if you think we have too many speed cameras, one section of "A" road in Leeds has 18 cameras, nine in each direction, in a lenght of about five kilometers. The GPS never shut up beeping to warn of them.

Obviously they must have run out of money after buying the world's fastest Police car...

Hahaaa!! Thats what sunnies are for! ;) lol :p

And a big LMAO at the good 'old' GPS, I was heavily relying on one for the past two days - Sydney driving.. I felt like a real tourist! They were doing road works on Lane Cove Road, and the GPS is flashing, going off at me.. lol,

Know what you mean with the 'warnings' about speed camera's/red light camera's... beep-beep-beep... just about non stop through there.

And in my book, if its bigger than you - it has right of way! hehe... Being a Plant Mechanic, I've driven a few trucks/tractors. I know how frustrating it can get when cars get in the way!! So I usually let them do what they want to..! and try not to get in the way. :yeah:

I've met a few European delights myself. The last thing I'd be looking at in Europe is a car :p
