still waiting on the quote. been ringing around the wreckers. i can get a second hand crossmember for $75. and said that i dont need a engine crane just a 6x2 timber and a car jack under the engine and stands for the body??

wats involved with replacing the crossmember?
or should i just pay the price of getting new?

just a note to close this thread off. i ended up getting the mechanic to replace the crossmember. $500.. if it didnt happen sunday night, and it wasnt a work car i could have rang around for some options.

he said the worn bushes have contributed... aswell as stiffer suspension and low profiles?
