hey, i heard a pretty mean sound comming from my front drivers side wheel while driving home.. stuck my head under the front and found this... :bang:

thats looking front on where the radius rod bolts onto the cross member. its a clean fracture.. jacked car up and wheel can move backwards and forwards horizontally :ranting:

since putting in superlows and 19's i drive pretty good now, so i dont scrub and bottom out, so how the hell would this happen?? am i ****ed?

tow truck for me!!!

This is the problem running big wheels on suspension that needs replacing.
Tyres with 65-60 aspect ratio can absorb alot of impact from the road so it can reduces the wear on the suspension. With the 19's you are running now which is a 35 series tyre absorbs very little impact so there will be more strain on your suspension... resulting of this

I have 19's myself on my VT but I have replaced the whole suspension, very costly but I reckon it is worth it in the long run.

The fracture looks like its been cracked for a while, judging by the colour of the torn metal. Good thing you caught it before an accident.
