ex-cop interior light disable switch

Hey quick question to anyone else with an ex-cop VY or VZ, can you tell me if your interior light switch on the console lights up with the dash lights, say like the PWR button does?

Not a big deal obviously, but would save me pulling apart the console for nothing.
