Its about time someone took off the spoiler on the VE beasts!!!

As said earlier, you either hate it or love it. Personally I love it!

Woah hey that is a killer wheel/tyre and brake combo. Such a great looking riding these days. Pretty sure I saw this ride somewhere in Morley a few weeks ago. I was in the silver VS Calais if you happened to catch a view of it.
few weeks back i was in europe but mate was looking after car so it could have been my car
but also another black VE SSV running around perth with very similar plates
man, thats BAD! bout time you got those wheels on it!! how deep is the dish on the rear?
:D yeah it took me a while but in the end had to go custom but LOVE the rims :w00t:

dish not at the spokes is the length of my phone Palm Treo 750
which is in length approx 110mm
at the spokes it isnt much coz they need to clear the brakes
yeah! im not a wing person at all but the Ve's look better with them!
yeah some ppl like it with wing but most like it without and i love it without so it will stay like that...

might throw the wing back on its only a 5min job and see how it looks

next on the list.....
everything now is little things here and there

* sway bars here so they will go on very soon
* G8 lip is gonna go on...washed car yesterday but didnt have time to put it on
* ordered catch can today so waiting for it to arrive
* open up rear end of exhaust to dual 3" instead of being dual 2.5"
* gonna take calipers off and repaint
* gotta retune the stereo since the subs etc been run in...was supposed to do this months ago but still havent had a chance
* head rest screens to run through stereo/dvd
* having custom OTR being made up with mate as he is gonna use my car as template for him to sell VE ones

pics of the catch can install.
very stealth in black and with the radiator shroud on barely see it :D
ASE did a great job and also big thanks to Shane for sending it off to the powedercoaters when i asked for more of a stealth one :D
nothing to hard for him and the service was great.
even sent it in an overnight bag at no expense due to some hicups at the powdercoaters  :bravo:

I love this car... and it will look so much better with the G8 lip on the boot. Those front brakes certinly fill out the wheels! It looks so much better then having tiny stock brakes and massive wheels. I'm also glad you didn't decide to put Chev badges on it!

Personally I would take the badges rest off, I think that if people heard and saw it go they would know it was an 8 lol

vessv2.jpg

thanks mate :D

i kinda like the badge in front. maybe not the original size but it looks a tad empty withotu something there. still looks phat whichever way you go though. can't wait to see what you come up with next mate.

dyno'd?
