friend over east done it with the stop rims and tyres and ran a 12.7 so its possible. and with bald RE55s ran a 12.5

i aint gonna go out there and keep trying to get a 12 with stocks
just going out there for some fun and see what i run.
otherwise i would go tex clutch, 3.7 diff ratio, MT etc....if i was chasing low to mid 12s

might look into MT options if i get real keen.

more keen on no limits at Barbagello...prefer the track to a straight line

here ya go ppl....the result of a CSV DTI with mafless tune  :w00t:
VE%20MAFLESS%20MANUAL.JPG

so i went from 253.7rwkw and 488.2NM of torque with
full exhaust
chipmaster CAI
Chipmaster Tune

to 274.7rwkw and 525.8NM of torque.
with a CSV DTI instead of Chipmaster CAI
Chipmaster Mafless Tune

21rwkw and 37.6NM gain
same dyno same operator both times

all i gotta say is this car is an animal to drive.
Big thanks go to Dan from Chipmaster for an awesome tune

this thing is an animal.
i am still getting used to the mafless tune.
when driving normally its fine but when you get up her its a whole new story with mafless....and i love it
the ESP light keeps flashing like christmas tree lights now :yeah:

plex got rained out and some got one run some got none
got free entry to it this week coz of it...so will be there

yeah your hsv brakes will stop you running smaller rims
i think mine will take 17s with semi slicks so might go down that path but just wanna have some fun now.
plex is good but track days at barbagello are insane.

Can i just ask what best time you have run? Id imagine a very low 12.

Why did you go with the CSV otr? I have heard nothing but bad reviews about these.

Anyways, looking good!

edit: Sorry would be a highish 12? Didnt realise how heavy these ****ers were!!

i have only been once to the drags and it was my first time ever.
ran a 13.5 with bad axle tramp and a wet track as after that it got cancelled due to the on and off rain.
i also forgot to take off at the time of installation the rubber seal that seals the bonnet to the front of the body so i was basically cutting air flow off to the DTI DOH!!!! which meant it was sucking hot engine bay air, pulling timing out,etc....such a newb at this drag business
going back this wednesday as it looks like no rain so should be right for a high to mid 12s like u say on street tyres
still have stock clutch so not sure how long it will last

waiting on a anti axle tramp kit from Fulcrum Suspensions to arrive here then launching these heavy things will be easier!

i went for the CSV DTI cos of the proven back to back results on dyno and track, the fact its the only OTR for the VE currently

What are the bad reviews you have heard about it?
Whats wrong with it?
