Exchangeable parts??

Hey guys, I am in the process of gathering all the parts I need to convert my vk 6cyl to the 308. So far I have the car, 308 & transmission. So a bit off actually doing the switch.

However I have come across another vk which is a factory 253. Will these parts be interchangeable? Such as tailshaft, diff, brakes. Pretty much hoping to get a lot of the major components if this is possible.

Please help.

no such thing as a factory VK 253 I'm afraid.
but yeah all the parts should be exchangeable with your 6 pot VK. Just make sure the tailshaft rear uni-joint (where it connects to the diff) is the same.

Thanks Darren, sorry bit of a newbie to all this stuff. But good to hear. Hopefully this will get me closer to actually getting this project underway!
