thanks everyone for your input. ok, so far from what you have said i should leave the stock pipes but changed the mufflers. i think my car has 2 mufflers though, centre and rear. should i be changing both of those for more free flowing types? and i have heard of Lukey before, they seem to be really well known and used buy alot of people on their cars.
should i also be looking at changing extractors for a small performance gain along with an intake upgrade of some kind? i feel like intake goes hand in hand with exhaust so why not get both mods done at the same time
