Bit of a weird one, had my car at the tuners getting the tune looked at, and for some reason the exhaust sounds different?

Here's the story: I've had problems with my tune and they told me there was a corrupt file, car has been mafless tuned for the past few months. Now they reflashed the mafless tune back into my car and the exhaust note is a lot deeper and I guess fuller sounding. More so at idle.

Anyone know what's going on?

they probably got the tune right and the engine is running advanced instead of retarded..

At a guess anyway

I get noticably different sounds from the exhaust on my VSV6 depending on where the ignition timing is set to in the tune. It sounds a lot deeper when the ignition timing is advanced more.
