How could you use the gasket from a VL? A VL is an inline 6 when a VR is a V6!! Just buy a gasket set for a V6!

thats what is used man....go to any exhaust place and they will use VL-VR/Skyline gasket...it is the proper gasket and it doesnt change untill the VS.

Ask for cat converter gaskets for a VL they should be the right ones.

just go to repco and ask for the exhaust gaskets for your engine, not really important what the otherpeople used, you can fit them yourself it's not difficult.

apparently it's common for the bolts to come loose, mine did after i fitted headers, their suppose to be a small half moon shaped steel bracket thats between the 2 bolts around each outlet, make sure you refit these after you tighten the bolts.

sorry about the late response, i got new gaskets when i got my rear resonator cut off.:yeah:
apparently the ****head from carline put the wrong gaskets in!!!:ranting:
