EXHAUST ISSUE LS1

Hey guys I recently had a redback 2.5 inch exhaust with rear muffler it was quiet but with straight pipes it was droney. So I bought a xforce exhaust and it sounds loud but the same issue I had with the redback it sounds like a wrx not a clear v8 take off

Has it been tuned? They don't sound so crisp with the stock tune

I have no idea I just bought it thinking it would sound better than the redback

Put redback system back on & get middle mufflers changed to straight-thru mufflers & keep rear resonator...otherwise it will drone loke a mofo.

Will still be quiet & probably only notice sound when up it hard...ls really need extractors/cats & tune/otr to sound good.

Catback barely notice the sound even with 2 hole airbox mod not much you can do unless you get spendy $$$ or hands dirty.

4 into 1 headers with hi flow cats help a lot with the v8 sound

if it's only drone you care about j-pipes will sort that.

I have them on my LS1 powered Monaro and I'm extremely happy (I also have extractors and hi-flow cats).
