Ive been looking around for a new catback or something,
i want a exhaust that in generally quiet but when i put my foot down it becomes louder, nay suggestions?

ive been thinking a 2.25/2.5" catback

Pacemaker cat back.
Best exhaust I've heared. Near silent at idle and cruising and nice and beefy, with a decent volume when you stand on it. Thats without a rear resonator.

Vk commodore, hq one tonner, hj ute,
my mate got one on his vx.
idles quiet, when he hits the acelorater and sounds awsome

he got it custom made.

i saw a video on youtube with a guy who has the stock headers idles quiet but when he revs it becomes loudd,

Mmm, I'll guarantee you inside the car is a different story. And video's are the worst way to determine the volume of something.
I had a redback exhaust system on an old 202 and it was loud all the time. 3.8 or 5ltr will be much louder.
