exhaust smoke

    Alot of exhaust smoke is coming from my car compared to other cars os this normal for a v8 or could there be a problem

    my omega smokes,starts off normal no smoke notheing (unless its cold morning but i never been awake for the morning yet) about 30 min into the drive it starts to smoke?

    mostly its white . steam like. but im not sure its steam coz if it wass all the water would have evaporated in one trip right?

    It would take a good long trip to evaporate all the water, I would say it just steam, as an example when I had a cat back exhaust put on my VX SS the fitter stood the old system up and I reckon close to a litre of water ran out of the rear muffler, I had driven about 20 minutes to the exhaust shop, so if you're doing a few short trips they do collect quite a bit of water in the rear muffler.

    One of the bi products produced by the catalytic converter is water,so you will nearly always get some water or steam coming from the exhaust.
