hi all
I have a redback exhaust system (that has had the rear muffler removed), however I would like to make it louder. Can someone please recommend an idea, or name what you have done to your own system ?

I do understand the epa will not be happy, however they will have to find me first.

ps: I have been told if i replace the center resignator with a hotdog muffler, it wont sound any different, is this true.

my car is a v6 vt

You already have the rear resinator out and want it louder?!?

I got a redback 2.5 no rear resi and dual tips, the thing is loud as all hell!
Gets backpressure going down through the gears.

I recon any louder and you would find it annoying.

A hot dog would make it ridiculasly loud...

Good luck with it anyway, post an audio clip if you end up getting it done...

i remember some years back that hotdogs worked depending which way you put it on .... because of the holes inside wasnt flat like normal mufflers _ _ _ _ _ _ but was like this / / / / / / / / / / / / / so the engine coming in from left side here would be noisey ... engine coming in from the right side is quieter cos the noise getting directed into the sound deading fiberglass packing by the / / / / / / / ....
