My old man chucked a chrome tip on the EL Falcon about 5 years ago just by fitting it to the exhaust himself, no welding, fusing or anything. Has had no problems in the 5 years it's been on there!

However if you want to do it professionally then you may want to listen to boona's idea.

If you're talking about just the tip, make sure you get the right size and then hit it on with a mallet. easy as.

Do exhaust tips make the car sound better, or is it just for looks.
Ive got a 1994 Lexcen Vxi V6 3.8L no modifications done to it.
