Hi guys new to the ve ss commodore scene, just wondering if a VF series 2 mid section would fit my 09 VE SS at all, cheers Shawn

Sure will

The only thing you need to watch out for is that sedans and wagons are interchangeable but not utes..

The rear mufflers are slightly longer - won’t be an issue 8n your case, as your only using the mid section

What benefit is there in swapping a VF II mid section for a VE mid section ?

Aren't the fitting for the rear mufflers different for a VE to a VF,
Where the VE use a 2 bolt flat flange, and VF's use a compression clamps type fittings.

Not all VF's use compression clamps, some also use the 2 bolt flange.
