ey guys gota stock super6 atm and i wana get an exhaust done. now i dont know how it will affect the car in terms of fuel economy and performance. im most likely jus gonna get a 2.5'' catback but also tempted 2 go the whole 9 yards and get the cat and the extractors done aswell. would anybody be able 2 tell me from experience how the stock super6 responds to either 1 of these exhaust setups coz i hear many different stories......

doing the exhaust first without any other mods will make it lose power overall and inturn will drink more fuel... because if your taking off at the lights with ur pedal say 30% in to take off at the normal way u drive, youll need to put it down say 40%. ie. more petrol needed to make the power to accell. most people will argue against this but its the reality, these arent actual figures im just saying how it will be like.

if you start doing other things like a CAI/pully/rockers youll notice it will lessen the backpressure and open the flow of the whole engine up, especially with a CAI to help intake temps/airflow.
