Yep, on several vehicles, it's called a gas axe, grinder and a TIG welder.

rarely do extractors fit properly, it's best to pay the guys that do dozens a day, they have the right tools and do it heaps faster for stuff all.

Ya also get a workmanship warranty, and the knowledge of someone that really knows the what and why of exhaust systems.

One of my pet HATES is somone that has a stock car with an overly noisy exhaust and using the choke to make it sound like it's got a lumpy cam, or those fake blower intakes, get a grip.

Back on point, noise will do nothing but attract the cops, ya might as well put a flashing light on the roof.

Most extractors need to be installed with the power steering rack unbolted from the crossmember and let loose to hang on its hoses and tie rods to give you clearance. You have to undo the the input shaft coupling by removing the nut and bolt amd sliding off the coupling and with the 2 large securing bolts removed from the crossmember ,the rack will slide out and hang down to fit the extractors.
After fitting the extractors bolt everything back up and check for clearance...I did a bit of precision grinding on that righthand flange to get clearance that Ithought was enough.
