    hey all how good are hurricane extractors for a vs?

    i know pace maker is the preffered brand etc but how good are the others? and what others are good? and bad?

    At the end of the day most if not all extractors will out flow factory headers and make more HP but the difference between makes is only small.
    They nearly all cause a drop in low down torque with more HP up higher.
    Generally speaking larger or longer primaries make less torque and more hp whilst short small primaries help keep the torque strong.
    These are only general basics and your mods or future mods will play a part in which extracors will suit your car.
    If your only fitting to an automatic V6 then most of the cheaper brands will do the job quite adequately.
    I do know with Hurricanes that the goldish coating is gone after about 2-3weeks driving.
