2006 VZ SS Ute 6.0
Got a VZ SS ute (6L) and appears a previous owner has flashed some custom tune on it. From what I can tell its got no mods other than a cat back so I'm wanting to put it back to stock to hopefully improve the fuel consumption slightly.

Can I flash a factory calibration onto it using and MDI2 and TIS2WEB? Have heard some comments about TIS2web not allowing a flash if the ECU tables have been modified? is there any truth to this?

I guess i should take a backup of the tune incase there are other mods that I'm unaware of.

You sure there are no internal mods, maybe a different cam and rocker ratio while externals were all kept stock?

Can’t you contact the previous owner and ask what was done to it?

Custom tunes are usually more economical then factory. How bad is the economy? Are the plugs fouled? Cleaned the mad? 02 sensors original?
