    Hey guys,

I'm looking at buying a new commodore. (Haven't decided the model, yet)

Any, my issue is the price of factory LPG.

I looked at the price of a VE Equipe and it's $34,990 drive away, yet when I change the 3.0 SIDI to the 3.6 Vapour Injected LPG, the price jumps to just over $44,000. Considering I converted my '07 Lumina to LPG for a touch over $4,000, how does Holden justify that price jump?

    Cheers

Well the 3.6L is a whole other engine, you're not only paying for to upgrade to a vapour injected system (although I thought all VEs were run on vapour injected systems?).

It's not like they are giving me both motors? They are swapping the petrol for the LPG.
That's why I find it strange...

The LPG system is about $4,000 then another $6,000 for the upgraded engine seems about right to me?

Fwiw I drove an omega with factory lpg around a couple of weeks back, got close to 800km from a tank, was shocked, didn't expect to get any more than the 600kms I get out of mine travelling the exact same route.

    #### me sideways, how big was the tank? I'm lucky to get 400ks out of mine with a 60L tank.
