    Hi guys,

Can anyone enlighten me as to what brands of tyres Holden uses on the 19 inch rims, besides Bridgestone Potenzas.

    Cheers.

Was under the impression that only the Bridgestone RE050A's were supplied... My SS-V Redline ute came with them, as did my mate MY07 HSV Senator Signature - Both came with 19 inch wheels as standard.

All the new cars I have seen use the Bridgestone RE050A

They did use Yokahama tyres on the SV6 in 2010 and 2011 but not all cars had that tyre fitted.

    **** I meant 18".

I saw an omega in a dealership with non-Bridgestone rubber and when I enquired the dealer said they don't always use Potenzas.

I thought he was bs'ing me.

Factory generally fits Bridgestone. Goes back to a time when Bridgestone tyres were manufactured in Australia - at Salisbury, actually almost next door to the Holden Elizabeth factory. As for different brands seen on vehicles at dealers, they often replace wheels with a whee/ tyre packages as an 'dealer option'.

My 19" Calais V Series II came with Bridgestone S001, ridiculously expensive to replace
