Right. Time to vent. On sunday evening, Rove announced to Australia that he was going to be touring. On monday morning i went onto the Ticketek site to see what was happening. There was a link there to go to the Ozzfan website and join up for "Exclusive Presale Tickets" Awesome i thought, so i purchased my membership ($50 USD) Now, it says it will take 1-2 weeks for the "Membership Pack" to get here. Thats fine i thought, because all i will need is a password or membership number. Nothing has come. Tickets have been on presale for half an hour and im going to miss out on presale, even after having done everything instructed to get the "Exclusive Presale Seats" Fanfire...you can kiss my fkn ass. Waste of time and waste of money. Misrepresentation of what to fkn expect.
must be a contact number or a misunderstanding. Not saying company hasn't stuffed you around but give them a ring and see whats going on. might get some freebies!
Just as an amendment to this, sent off an email to them, pretty much telling them that they were a bunch of con-artist, decieving pri**s. I got my password reset for the website and low and behold, i got myself a presale password. So this morning i logged in, and got myself 4 tickets for the front section of the floor. Absolutly bouncing off the walls. Iron Maiden in Feb...Ozzy in March...What a top year it will be.
DARKVL, was it really necessary to call them all those choice words? Just a simple email from the start explaining your problem surely would have sorted it out.
This is the email that i sent them: Good afternoon. On Sunday, Ozzy Osbourne announced a tour of Australia. On Monday i visited the Australian Ticketek website and it said "Go to OzzyFan for presale tickets" So i did and i purchased a membership and have since gotten an order confirmation from you telling me that you have infact recieved my payment. Fanfire Invoice for Order# XXXXXXX What i dont have is any form of password to get me on to presale. If the password is only going to come with the package, which can take up to 14 days, why advertise to join your club and get all these great "Benefits" when i am now $50 poorer because your system does not work logically and i am actually UNABLE to purchase the tickets on presale. A Password would be great to enable me to buy presale tickets. Preferably before presale ends, otherwise my $50 will not be doing what i intended it to do, and what you advertised it would do. Hey do you know when the Ozzy tickets are on sale, caus i can get pre-sale tickets through the missus work but im just scared if something happens between us i might miss out on Ozzy lol. Pre-sale for fanclub was from Thursday to Friday, General tickets go on sale on Thursday the 1st. No announcement on the support act yet. http://ozzfan.com is the Ozzy Fanclub site, but i dont think their presale is still up. And the tickets are on sale through Ticketek.com.au
I don't get why you have to pay $50 to become a ticketek member. All I did a few years ago was sign up to ticketek online and I get all the presale invites emailed to me. Must be a new thing.
The $50 was a fee with the Official Ozzy Osbourne Fan-Club. They were given a certain amount of pre-sale tickets which went on sale an entire week before they were to go on sale through ticketek offices. Although Ticketek are still handling the payments. Ticketek membership is still free as i signed up the other day. But the Ticketek link tells you to get the "Exclusive Pre-Sales" by joining the fanclub and had a link to the Fanclub website,. where you pay the $50 to get the access to the pre-sale tickets
