How can you tell if your charging system needs upgrading?

I put a multimeter across my battery terminals and on a big bass drop it got as low as 12.6V

Done the big 3 yet?

Nah not yet. Was thinking about going VT alternator if I did anything because they pump out 10amps more than the VS one.

Waste of time. Go the big 3 upgrade first then go from there.

It's preferable to do the big three with 4 gauge or higher, with proper hex crimped copper lugs etc. Do it right the first time and you won't have an issue.

Overkill is a good thing in this case guys, don't be afraid to go larger / as large as the budget permits, will save you from doing more upgrades down the track.

that isn't low :p I have no doubt mines been in the 10's... but, ignorance is bliss... :idea:

I'm going to go off-topic for a second here.

I would like to say it is very refreshing to see someone post up model numbers of their gear when asked what they are running, and not Pioneer 500w, or Lanzer 10,000,000watt.

So hats off too you OP.
