5.20 DTC P0443 – Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Circuit
This diagnostic procedure supports DTC P0443 – Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Circuit. Circuit Description
Battery voltage is supplied to the Evaporative Emission Control System (EVAP) purge solenoid relay coil via the Engine Control Relay. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) controls the EVAP purge solenoid by grounding the control circuit via an internal switch called a driver. The driver has a fault line, which the PCM monitors. If the fault detection circuit senses a voltage other than what the PCM expected, the fault line status changes, causing DTC P0443 to set
You will need access to a professional scan tool to do the diagnostics recommended in the manual. Do some research onthe site and you will find plenty of info on the purge valve.
On the fan side of the house - Check the cooling fan fuses and work your way through from there. Based on the codes I would think there is a short to earth in the fan circuit that has caused the fuses to fail. A multimeter and the wiring diagram would be a good place to start. Given the number of codes I recommend downloading the service manual (search the site to find a link) and just work you way through systematically.
