I have a 2008 Holden commodore sedan. I have the following faults coming up...P0660 , P0121 , P2176. The last two have been coming up for awhile but the P0660 is a new one... The biggest thing I have noticed is the lack of power when i put my foot down and transmission problems with changing gears. Not sure if this is due to the fact that it goes into safety mode and abs turns off... It also seems to have moments of not wanting to start straight away.... Advice would be appreciated..... Thank you

I would definitely have a look at the Throttle body.

Start with a good clean. Also compare the pedal position with the throttle body butterfly position.
The 2 first ones are directly related to the TB. That would also explain the lack of power, especially if the TB doesn't fully open anymore.

The code that you got lately could be due to the TB getting stuck open.

+++++111111 for above, the starting could be related to the other issue but what is it doing when starting, transmission service history?

Tbs issues

Hi guys,to do a test on the sensor how do I find out which wires are which. :- ie. Ground ,power, return current. To determine if faulty.
I have these codes coming up also.
Should the TB butterfly be fully closed when not running as mine is open a bit.?

Just to say ... on a VE Series II v6 the P0660 is showing because you left the plug at the back of the plenum chamber disconnected when you put it back together ...

Don't ask me how I know ...
