VZ crewman. When I am in reverse the brake lights go dull and flicker and the instrument cluster lights flicker on. Brake lights work normal when not in reverse. Please advise?

Trailer plug would be the first place I would be checking.
If the wiring in the plug is ok and correct, then reverse light bulbs and stop tail bulbs would be next looking for incorrect bulbs or faulty/damaged filaments.
Poor earthing of bulbs could also be troublesome.

Thanks for your input. Found the fault. Wire chaffing created a short to power. Bit of tape and all fixed now.
